William “Bill” Warren Ware, 84, of Mineola, Texas, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Winnsboro, Texas. He was born on October 18, 1941, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to Roy Ware and Ruby Lucille (Crawford) Ware.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring honorably after a distinguished career in aircraft modification. Following his military service, he continued his education, earning a master’s degree in finance.
On September 28, 1988, Bill married Kris Ware in Rockwall, Texas. Together, they built a life centered on hard work, service, and faith.
Bill owned and operated a cattle farm for many years following his Air Force career. In 2006, he and Kris moved to Mineola, where they co-owned and operated the Rose Hill Community Food Pantry. The pantry became Bill’s life’s work and highest priority. He poured his heart and soul into serving others, believing deeply in giving back to the community and meeting people where they were with dignity and respect.
Bill was a member of the Mineola Rotary Club and the First Christian Church of Mineola. Known as a true Southern gentleman, he was admired for his strong work ethic, generosity, and commitment to helping others.
