Wayne Harold Watts

Wayne Harold Watts, 90, of Cleburne, peacefully passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2020 with his family by his side.

He was born on September 4, 1929 in Anson Texas to his parents Chester and Lois Watts. Harold began working ranches in West Texas at a very young age. He had a gift with stock, especially horses. He had the ability to get the best out of them.

He married the love of his life, Geneva, on September 14, 1947 whom he had two wonderful daughters that he loved dearly. He was very proud of his grandchildren, great, and great great grandchildren.

He enjoyed his family, loved the country life, old music, country cooking and loved sweets. He had to have them with every meal and as snacks. Mom spoiled him and so did the rest of the family.

Harold had a very accomplished and fulfilling life. He farmed, did ranch work, trained race horses for many years, worked in the oilfield and had Watts Construction Company for over 30 years. He was a man of many gifts.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He never met a stranger and made friends all over the United States. Him and mom were blessed with traveling from the mountains to the gulf coast for fishing. Most of the time it was family adventures. He and mom loved hard, worked hard, and played hard.

With them both gone they have left a huge hole in us all but we know there strolling across heaven together just like they planned.

Harold is proceeded in death by his parents Chester and Lois Watts, his brothers, and sisters.

Left to cherish his precious memory are his daughters; Kay Ham and husband Kevin of Winnsboro TX, Rita Watts of Cleburne TX, 4 Grandchildren; Bryan Robertson and wife Toni, Gay Lynn Ford and husband Kevin, Monty Moore and wife Angie, and Miranda Hannie and husband Tyler; 10 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
