Wanda Lee Oliver, 85, of Winnsboro, passed away Wednesday morning, February 13, 2019 at her home.
Wanda was born in Oklahoma on June 18, 1933 to Andrew and Edna Mae (Phillips) Jackson. She moved to Winnsboro from Lytle, TX in 2005. She was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church and was very active in the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Wanda was a homemaker and loved cooking and baking, doing yard work, and playing with her grandkids. In the past she also loved to paint with her best friend, Ruby Nell Azlin.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Edna Jackson; husband, JW Oliver in 2003; four brothers; one sister; and two sons, Allen Oliver and Jim Oliver.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Oliver of Arlington; daughter, Joyce Azlin and husband Danny of Winnsboro; Daughter-in-law, Dee Oliver of Lytle, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Rique Azlin, DâAnne Canaday, Chad Azlin, Jody Oliver, Jennifer Jung, JD Oliver, Janette Williams, Mark Oliver, Greg Oliver, Raynaldo Reyes, Andrew Jay Reyes, Jason Armstrong, and Katie Niles; 22 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and her best friend and neighbor, Ruby Nell Azlin.
A graveside service will be held at Bexar County Cemetery at a later date.
