Tommy Glen Harvey

Tommy Glen Harvey, age 73 of Mineola, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in Tyler, Texas.

Tommy was born in Colorado City, Texas on November 20, 1949, to the late Billy and Billie Harvey. For most his life, Tommy was employed as an oil and gas truck driver, he also served proudly in the United States Airforce. He married the love of his life, Alma Clarene Anderson on October 22, 1971 in Lovington, New Mexico and together they welcomed their daughter, Tracie. Before moving to Mineola five years ago, Tommy lived in Odessa, Texas.

Every morning, Tommy loved to go on walks with the dogs and he was a big coffee drinker. In his free time, Tommy liked to play dominoes, rummy, and go to garage sales. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and he kept amazing notes of his everyday life. Being the very giving man that he was, he also donated to numerous children’s charities.  

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma Clarene Anderson; his parents Billy and Billie Harvey.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Tracie Bracken and husband James of Mineola; his siblings, Pat Fernando, Linda Nixson, Ronnie Harvey, and David Harvey; and two grandchildren, Brittany Valderaz and Chris Bracken.
