Thomasene Hamrick

Funeral service for Thomasene Hamrick, 84, of Golden, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday May 22, 2016, at Lowe Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morrow and Brother Edwin Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest 2 Cemetery in Alba. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home.

Thomasene was born May 21, 1931, in Golden to Thomas and Lessie Champion and passed away May 19, 2016, in Mineola. She lived most of her life in Wood County where she was a homemaker and a member of Golden Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, C.M. “Max” Hamrick.

Survivors include son, Kelly Hamrick and wife Dana of Golden; and grandsons, Blake and Brad Hamrick.

Serving as pallbearers are Stan Smith, Randy Russell, Mike Humphries, Billy Patrick, Rodney Patrick, Gary Allen Patrick, and Dee Willis.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Galyean Sr., George Tom Hayes, Billy John Harpole, Johnny Lee Weeks, and George Russell.
