Theresa "Terri" Bonsal

Theresa Bonsal, 81, of Mineola, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Tyler, TX. The family wish to express their deep appreciation and thankfulness to Mineola Healthcare Residence staff, Dr. Royal Becker, Dr. Ferguson and the wonderful caring staff of Homeplace Hospice Care, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, 6-8 PM at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 14, 2017, at Payne Springs Cemetery. A memorial service will follow in Mineola at 2:00 PM, at the Mineola Church of Christ with Brother Jeremy Harrell officiating.

Theresa was born on May 16, 1936, in Coleman, OK, to Willie A. Waller and Mary (Sliger) Waller. She lived in Mineola and was a member of Mineola Church of Christ and the VFW Woman's Auxiliary. She worked at Tyler Pipe for over 25 years in production finishing. She enjoyed shopping and spending time at Wal-Mart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Gene Bonsal; and three sons, Billy Wayne Bonsal, Wendell Gene Bonsal and James Lloyd Bonsal.

She is survived by one son, Ricky Bonsal and wife Lisa of Mineola; two daughters Brenda Bonsal and husband Robert Falati of The Colony and Melanie Phillips and husband Robert of Quitman; one sister, Wanda Jean Pitts of Thomson, GA. Nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
