A Celebration of Life Service for Terry “Papaw” Farmer, 61, of Quitman, is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2019 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
Terry Derwood Farmer was born in Ennis, Texas on January 30, 1958 to Bobby and Willie Mae Byars Farmer. He moved to East Texas in the 1970’s residing in the Winnsboro area prior to settling in Quitman. He worked in the Oil Industry for many years as a Pumper. While in East Texas he was blessed with a son, Keith Farmer, and a daughter, Amanda Farmer McDonald. Terry passed away on October 24, 2019 at his Residence. He was preceded in Death by his Father, Bobby Farmer.
Left to Cherish his memory are his Mother, Willie Mae Byars Farmer, Son, Keith “Bubba” Farmer and his wife Hannah “Honey” Farmer, Daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Farmer McDonald, Grandchildren, Keithyn “Heckle” Meadows, Aiden “Hootie” Farmer, Klayton “Jeckle” Meadows, Bladyn,"Hoss" Farmer, Gavin “Pootie” McDonald, and Camryn “Sunshine” McDonald, Brothers, John Farmer, Rusty Farmer, and Clay Farmer, Sisters, Pam Thompson, Shelia Parris, and Tammy Parris. His Sweetheart Nancy “Grammy” Wykert, her daughter Jennifer Bergen Veach, and Jennifer’s daughter’s, Kendall “Walkin Boss” Veach Durant and Kassy "Short Shit" Veach Bean, and his very good friend Doris Gray.
