She has lived in Quitman since 2000 moving from Pensacola, FL. She was a Protestant and attended Whispering Hope Baptist Church, Quitman. Tara was formerly active with Meals on Wheels. She is preceded by father, Robert Eugene Dean; 1 Sister, Candi Dean; and 1 niece, Tiffany Dean.

Tara is survived by her mother, Jane Dean, Quitman, Tx; 1 Son, Liko Crump, Pensacola, FL; 1 Daughter, Genie Crump, Quitman, TX; 3 Brothers, Kevin Van Fossen, John Van Fossen, Max Van Fossen and 2 Sisters, Treva Van Fossen and Lolly Peralto; 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
