Sean Alan Crain passed away Sunday September 19, 2021, at his home in Quitman.

Sean Crain was born in Dallas on November 25, 1976, to Thomas Gordon Crain and Sandra Kay Crain. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1995. In 2005 he moved to Quitman from Irving. He worked for Lowes Distribution Center in Mt. Vernon for the last 17 years on the loading dock.

Sean loved the Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed playing video games and jigsaw puzzles. He was a gentle giant whose biggest passion was organizing and running firework shows for his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gordon Crain; maternal grandparents, George and Cleta Hammer; paternal grandfather Joseph Weldon Crain “Daddy Joe”; aunts, Bessie Jo Betchley and Karen Hudgins; Uncle Doug Stone; and cousins, Victoria Betchley and Rusty Stone.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sandra Crain of Cedar Hill; sisters, Teresa Lisenbe and husband Kenneth of Cedar Hill, Misty Alfaro and husband Hector of Euless, Ashley Crain of Quitman, and Jenna Cragg, husband Andrew; brother, Joseph Crain of Quitman, James Scoggins of Denison; paternal grandmother, Edith Crain; aunts, Lou Nell Eady and husband Craig, Alisa Crady, Louann Cagle and husband Larry Cagle; uncles: Peter Betchley, Roger Hudgins; great aunt, Patsy Veracruz, Nancy Stone; great uncle, James Hamer; cousins, Erin and Austin Eady, Mike Cauley, Randy Cauley, Debbie Dinsmore, Mark Hamer, Ted Stone, Brandi Hood and husband Justin Hood, Joe Crain, Albert Betchley, David Betchley, Raymond Betchley; nephew, Matthew Lisenbe; nieces, Aleshia Alfaro, Jullie Alfaro, and Jessenia “Jessie” Alfaro; and great nephew, Nikolai Alfaro. And many other numerous cousins.
