Graveside service for Sarah Pauline Howle, 103, of Quitman, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Rock Hill Cemetery with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

Pauline was born in Wood County on January 8, 1915 to John B. and Nora P. (Reed) Dial. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Wood County. Pauline married the love of her life, C. R. Howle, on December 25, 1931. They were married over 50 years at the time of his passing in 1984.

Pauline was a homemaker and loved to sew. She also loved to make her famous coconut pie for everyone at her apartment complex for their birthday.

Pauline passed away Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018 in Longview.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Nora Dial; husband, C. R. Howle; sisters, Opal Willingham, Floy Morgan, Estelle Noe, Mozelle Craver, and Bonnie Bryan; brother, Benford Dial; great grandson, Hunter Wilson; and niece, Pat Herd.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Glenda Owen of Longview; grandchildren, Karla Wilson Smith of Longview, and Wesley Keith Wilson of Longview; great grandchildren, Heather Jurenka and husband Joey , Hailey White and husband Jeff, Robert Wilson, and Chase Wilson; great great grandchildren, Brayden, Maverick, and Sawyer; and her great niece, Kathy Gilbreath, who was like a daughter to Pauline. She is also survived by many other extended family members.
