Sara Paulett (Sorrell) Howle

Sara Paulett Sorrell-Howle of Quitman passed away January 17th, 2022 after a lengthy illness. She was 69 years old.

Sara was born November 17, 1952 to Solomon Paul Howle and Gennie Lee Brady Howle. She was the youngest of their 3 daughters.

After high school Sara married Joe Sorrell. They moved to Alaska until the early 80’s when they returned to Texas. They owned and operated businesses in the Lake Fork area for many years. Sara was a devoted member of Sweet Fellowship Church in Yantis.

In Heaven she is greeted by her parents and her 2 sisters, Mary Diane Howle von Reyn and Reta Don Howle Taylor.

Left to cherish her memory are: nephews and nieces, Chris von Reyn, Brad von Reyn, Vanessa von Reyn Simpkins, Carrie Boedeker and Jenny DeLand, many great nieces & nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life for Sara will be held on Sunday, February 20th, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Venue at 219 (219 Main Street) in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  All family and friends are welcome to attend.
