Roy Lee Edwards

Roy Lee Edwards, 63 of Winnsboro, TX died on Friday, May 15, 2020. Born Monday, July 9, 1956 in Lamessa, TX, he was the son of the late John Edwards Jr. “Rusty” and Belle McGary Edwards of Winnsboro who survives. He was the husband of Janet Gail Wall of Winnsboro who survives. They were united in marriage on April 23, 1983 and were married 37 years. Roy loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family camping and 4 wheeling. Also surviving are his children, Shannan Downes and husband Archie of Harrison, AR, Sandy Underdown and husband Tony of Alpena, AR, Christina Voyles and husband Johnny of Winnsboro, TX, and Cody Edwards and his wife Ashley of Winnsboro, TX; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one due in September; siblings, Barbara Long of Madisonville, TX, Johnny Edwards of Brashear, TX, Ronnie Edwards of Yantis, TX, James Edwards of Sulphur Springs, TX, Katherine Wall of Como, TX, and John Edwards III of Winnsboro, TX; mother-in-law Billie Cooper and husband John of Sulphur Springs, TX; brothers-in-law  Brent Wall of Winnsboro, TX, and Jonathon Cooper of Sulphur Springs, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father and father-in-law A.B. Wall.

Roy Edwards will have visitation on Wednesday May 20, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a graveside following at 11:30am at Shady Grove Cemetery.
