Rodney Sarge Simpson

Rodney “Sarge” Simpson, 68,  of Quitman Texas passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Tyler Texas.

Rodney was born on November 19, 1952 in Dallas Texas to his parents Addison Simpson and Elvada Cash Simpson. He was a lifetime resident of the area.

Rodney enlisted in the United States Army on February 3,1972 where he served until May 6, 2008. He was involved with the VFW, DAV and was a lifetime member of the American Legion- Mineola.

He is proceeded by his parents Addison and Elvada Simpson; brother, Elton Simpson; and daughter Crystal Simpson.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Simpson; son John Simpson of Mesquite; daughters Rachel Simpson of Mesquite, and Aurora Simpson of Mesquite; step-son Andrew Moore; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
