Robert Lewis Petty

Funeral services for Robert Lewis Petty 85, Quitman are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 22, 2015, Cartwright Baptist Church with Rev. Cody Mize and Doug Richey officiating. Burial will be in Clover Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, October 21st Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.

Robert was born August 25, 1930 in Dallas to the late Raymond and Floy Lewis Petty and passed away in Quitman October 20, 2015. He retired as maintenance supervisor at Plastics Manufacturing of Dallas and was a deacon of Cartwright Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Wilda Petty in 1999.

He is survived by 2 sons, Rick Petty and wife Karla, Benbrook and Glen Petty and wife Jan of Mesquite; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
