Funeral services for Robert William Dudley 51, Mineola are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, Quitman with Ricky Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Chilton Cemetery, Big Sandy, Tx. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening, November 26th at the funeral home. He was born April 16, 1962 in New York City, New York to Donald and Jane Cramond Dudley. He was a high school teacher for the Cleda High School and was a teacher and coach for 27 years. He graduated from Gainesville High School and received his Masters of Education from Austin College. He touched many lives along the way through teaching and coaching. Many students who stayed in contact over all those years. He was a loving husband and father who loved the outdoors in any setting and a great brother to his siblings and never stopped teaching them. Robert is preceded in death by his father Don Dudley. He is survived by his mother Jane Dudley, Gainesville, Tx; his wife Michelle Dudley, Mineola, TX; 5 sons, Jason James and wife Libby, Krum, Tx, Stanley Walker and wife Casey, Palestine, Tx, Jeffrey Cowley, Dallas, Tx, Christopher Dudley, Whitehouse, Tx, and Matthew Cowley, Huntsville, Tx; 2 Daughters, Kristen Cowley, Mineola, Tx,and Nichole Dudley, Tyler, Tx; 2 Brothers; Jeff Dudley, Pottsboro, Tx. and Chris Dudley, Gainesville, Tx; 5 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
