Memorial services for Rayford Dannon Wilbanks,82, Longview, formerly of Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 22,2015 Rock Hill Cemetery with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

Rayford was born April 20, 1933 in Kilgore, Texas to the Luke and Velma Sherrill Wilbanks and passed away at his residence August 16, 2015 in Longview. He worked overseas 20 years, drilling oil wells for 4 different Drilling Companies and rose to be an Area Operations Manager. He served in the U S Navy and was a radar operator in the Koran war. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma Gilbreath Wilbanks, April 17, 2017; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Rayford is survived by 3 brothers; Floyd, Otis and Wiley Wilbanks and 1 sister Dorothy. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Johnny Gilbreath; Nephews, Chad and Cade Gilbreath and a niece Faith
Gilbreath.
