Randal "Randy" Lanser

Randy was born in St. Joseph, MO to the late Roland and Vivian Lanser. He grew up in Denver, CO and graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After moving to Dallas, TX he received a masters degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and then became a CPA. He spent 21 wonderful years living in New Orleans and working at a job that he loved. After retirement he moved to Alba, TX to live at “The Lake House”.

He is survived by his loving wife Pam Lanser and their children, Christina Drueckhammer and husband David, Katherine Johnson and husband Kenny, Heather Boisclair and husband Bo, Richard Lanser, Jennifer Benoit and husband Brady, and Becky Lanser and fiancée Brandon Bailey. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren: Tyler, Wesley, Sara, Hannah, and Maggie Drueckhammer, Kyle and Kole Johnson, Ben and Bryn Boisclair, Lily and Emma Rappold, Trent Thomas, Brennan and Riley Bailey. He is also survived by two sisters, Jan Danziger and Susan Volavka and also had numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and hosting family vacations with his growing family. He was extremely proud of all of his successful children and their families.

He was lifelong model railroader and he loved fast cars and riding his Harley Davidson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations in Quitman, TX on January 8, 2022 at 11:00am.
