Paula Jan Norton

Funeral services for Paula Jan Norton, age 64, of Mineola, Texas are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church in Quitman, Texas with Bro. Michael Mize and Bro. Byron George officiating.  Interment will follow in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery with services under the direction of Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations.  Paula passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Tyler, Texas.  She was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on September 16, 1958, to the late Joseph Winston and Ann Wallace (Wilcox) Pinkston and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola.  Paula was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and she most enjoyed following her grandchildren in all their activities including watching them play sports.    

Paula is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Steve Norton of Mineola, Texas; daughter, Jamie Lisenbe and husband, Layne of Mineola, Texas; son, Brandon Norton and spouse, Bradley Bowen of Gluckstadt, Mississippi; brother, Jim Pinkston and wife, Jeanie of Greenville, Texas; sisters, Georgie Ziegler and husband, Mike of Quitman, Texas and Pam Ziegler and husband, Johnny of Quitman, Texas; grandchildren, Peyton Lisenbe, Macy Lisenbe, Mackenzie Lisenbe and Spencer Lisenbe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Ziegler, Greg Pinkston, Mike Collins, John Pruden, Sean Wilson, Curt Swanson, Greg Perkins and Luke Pruden.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations in Quitman, Texas.
