Michael Edward Evans, 64, of Quitman passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Michael was born on August 18, 1958, to J.C and Katherine Evans in Houston Texas. He was a carpenter and lived all his life in Wood County. He loved fishing, building things and had an infectious laugh.
He is preceded by his wife Connie Evans; son Michael Wayne Evans; parents J.C and Katherine Evans; and brother Bo Evans.
He is survived by his daughter Summer Evans of Quitman, Texas; brothers Larry Evans of Winnsboro, Texas, Buddy Evans of Humble, Texas, and Cecil Evans of Burnet, Texas; sisters Gayla McCoy of Winnsboro, Texas, Sandra Frost of Lindale, Texas, and Betty Evans of Winnsboro, Texas; two grandchildren Carter Luke Evans and Hunter Lee Moore; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
