Funeral services for Mary Joyce Van Cleave, 78, Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes in Quitman with Reverend Terry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Wood County. Family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday evening May 2nd at Lowe Funeral Home.
Mary was born March 7,1935 to Herbert and Elsie Mae Finley. She attended Grand Prairie High School and graduated as Valedictorian and worked for Dallas Water Department.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Kimberly Joyce Williams and a granddaughter, Alysha Van Cleave, 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband Ira Van Cleave, Quitman; 1 son, Fred Van Cleave and Kerry, Mineola; 2 daughters, Kathy Bayliss, Tyler, Karen Van Cleave, Quitman; 2 sisters, Patsy Brown, Edgewood, and Fern York, Crandall, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
