Marty Walton

Memorial service for Marty Walton, 66, of Yantis, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Lake Fork Baptist Church with Brother Perry Crisp officiating.

Martin “Marty” Allan Walton was born September 20, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack and Betty (Oliver) Walton and passed away August 3, 2016 at his home. He lived in Yantis 6 years, where he was a member of the Lake Fork Baptist Church. He was a retired auditor for an oil and gas company and also served in the United States Air Force. In his younger years he enjoyed traveling to hunt with his friends and loved fishing on Lake Fork as he got older. Marty was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Pam Walton of Yantis; son, Jake Walton and wife Allison of Spring; daughter, Paige Walton of Rockwall; and two grandchildren, Avery and Cole Walton.
