Funeral services for "Marty" Johnson 57, Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 23, 2014, Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church, East FM 778, Quitman with Brian Roberts and Brother Rick Ellington, officiating. Burial will follow in Concord cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening October 22nd at Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Marty was born May 10, 1957 in Mineola, TX to Jack M. and Julia Faye Kirbo Johnson and passed away October 20, 2014 in Tyler. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator, a former Wood County 4-H Goldstar Boy, Champion Steer Roper and a Baptist. He is preceded in death by a sister, Debra Kay Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Mack and Julia Johnson, Quitman; wife Alicia Johnson, Quitman; daughter, Janelle Johnson, George West, TX; 2 brothers, Donal Mack Johnson, Tyler, David Johnson, Quitman; 2 grandchildren, Kimberley Ashlee, George West, Riley McMinn, Emory and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
