Funeral services for Marlin C. Ingram, 82 Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 1, 2015 Lake Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Crisp; son, Hardie Ingram and grandson, Christian Ingram as speakers. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening September 30th at Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.

Marlin was born August 22, 1933 in Wood County to the late Hardie D. and Vinnie Howle Ingram and passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Quitman. He was a self employed cattle rancher, teacher, coach and high school principal. He was also a life time member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Willie D. Ingram, Sr. and 2 nephews Dee and Randy Ingram.

Marlin is survived by his wife of 49 years Marlene Ingram, Quitman and 2 sons, Hardie Ingram and Larisa, Centerville, GA and Shannon Ingram and Andrea, Bulverde; 2 sisters-in-law, Marvalene Henderson and Lavene Crane and husband Harold; 1 brother-in-law, Gene Trawick and wife Verline; 1 sister, Louise Cullum and 8 grandchildren.
