Margie Earlean Romine

Earlean Romine, 89, of Winnsboro, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

She was born on October 19, 1933, in Franklin County to parents Earl and Lily Whittiker Kear. She was a lifelong area resident. Margie met the love of her life Gene Romine and married on January 5, 1951, in Texarkana, Texas.  She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Margie attended Coldwater Baptist Church.

She is preceded by her husband Gene Romine; infant sons Mark and Mike Romine; parents Earl and Lily Kear; brother Bud Kear; grandson Gary Don Romine; and great granddaughter Autumn Romine.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Debby Peters of Greenville, Tx, and Kathy Johnston, husband Don of Gladewater, Tx; son Gary Romine and wife Linda of Winnsboro, Tx; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services for Earlean will be held Saturday, February 11 at 2:00PM at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations with Brother Donny Chamberlin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations. Graveside will follow at Smyrna Cemetery with pallbearers including: Keith Romine, Triston Dodson, Austin Romine, Shane Combs, Michael Romine, and Shandon Dodson; honorary pallbearer Rowdy Romine.
