Margaret "Ann" Walsh Henderson - Tyler Texas, formerly of Quitman, Texas passed away on March 17, 2016.

Mrs. Henderson was born June 6, 1931 in Waterbury, Nebraska to George and Margaret Walsh. She served our country as a Sergeant in the Women's Army Corp. from 1948-1954 where she met and married her husband Billy while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. They traveled the world while in the military until Billy retired in 1972 where they made their home in Quitman. For many years she was a member of the local Eastern Star. She loved fishing, sewing and many other hobbies.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billy in 1986.

She is survived by her brother James Walsh, Nebraska. Three children: Shirley Henderson, Tyler; Billy Henderson and wife Laura, Montgomery; Johnny Henderson, Mineola. Four grandchildren: Tiffany Harrison, Tyler; Corey Henderson, Baytown; Andrea Henderson, Austin; Lathan Henderson, California. Brother-in-law Danny Henderson and wife Nancy, Quitman; Nieces Diane Gutzmann, Nebraska; Mary Sterup, Nebraska; Emily Kitcher, Georgia; Anita Phelps, Katy; Nephews Pat Walsh, Oregon; John Walsh, Missouri; Danny M. Henderson, Providence Village; David Henderson, Quitman. 17 great nieces and nephews, 9 great-great nieces and nephews, and many great friends throughout the years.

Per her request there will be no funeral, only a visitation/remembrance at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman, on Saturday April 9th from 2-4 pm.
