Madelon Wally Newton

Madelon (Lonnie) Newton, Age 76 of Quitman Texas (originally from Omaha, Nebraska) passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceeded in death by daughter Tracey and granddaughter Tasha.

Lonnie was born August 5, 1948 to Clifford and Lillian Billings (Agee). Lonnie married the love of her life Raymond on June 16, 1965. They completed their family with addition of three daughters, Tracey, Shari, and Tammy.

Lonnie was a grandmother of 8, and great grandmother of 6. She loved flowers, plants, and since moving to Texas loved watching the hummingbirds, laying in the warm sun, and having an afternoon glass of wine. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
