Louann Cagle, 69, of Quitman, Texas, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Tyler, Texas.

Louann was born on November 1, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, to Joe Weldon Crain and Edith Arnold Crain. She graduated from Spruce High School in Dallas and went on to dedicate many years to public service. She worked as a supervisor with the City of Dallas and Dallas County Schools before becoming a Public Service Officer, from which she eventually retired.

Louann met her husband, Larry Wane Cagle, in Dallas, and the two were married in 1996. They later made their home in Quitman, Texas, where Louann lived for 11 years.

Louann had a love for flowers and gardening. She found joy in tending to her garden and surrounding herself with the beauty of nature.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Weldon Crain; sisters, Bessie and Karen; and brother, Thomas Gordon Crain.

Louann is survived by her husband, Larry Cagle; her mother, Edith Crain; her children, Joe W. Crain, Lynda Michaels, and Brandy Ahr; her sister, Alisa Crady; her niece, Brandi Hood; and several extended family members and dear friends.

Louann will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
