Funeral services for Lorraine Stephens Hughes, 83, Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with the Reverends Charles Diffee and Heith Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Wood County. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday evening, November 12th at the funeral home. Lorraine was born July 6, 1930 in Sherman, Tx to James Jefferson and Viola Shaw Davis and passed away November 11, 2013 at her residence in Quitman. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Tifford Davis, Milton Davis and James Davis; 2 sisters, Aylene Westphall and Morraine Leesman. She is survived by her husband, W. W. Hughes, Quitman; sons; Edward Dale Reighley, Jace Wesley Stephens both of Mesquite, Tx.,Gary Hughes, Yantis, Tx.; Daughters, Penny Aylene Moore, Mesquite, Deborah Thies, Terrell, Barbara Henderson, Crandall and Patricia Glass Corpus Christi; Grandchildren, Sondra Henderson, Micheal Reighley, Miranda Ontiveros, Melanie Ivie and Hailey Moore; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
