Lois Clifton Grossman

Lois Clifton Grossman, a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 77.

Born on March 14, 1946, in Tacoma, Washington, Lois was the youngest of 14 children born to William and Irene Clifton.

In the early 1990s, Lois moved to Quitman, Texas. Soon after settling in Quitman, Lois married Herbert Grossman, and together they created a loving and supportive partnership. Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quitman.

Known for her creative talents, Lois had a passion for quilting, which she shared with others through her beautiful creations. In her earlier years, she made costumes for children. Additionally, Lois used her skills to make hats for cancer patients, offering a glimmer of hope during challenging times.

Outside of her hobbies, Lois enjoyed shopping and playing games on the computer. However, one of her greatest joys came from being a grandmother and sharing precious moments with her grandchildren. Her love and unwavering support will forever be cherished by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Clifton; daughter, Lissa Borke; husband, Herbert Grossman, and her eleven siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Warren of Mineola, TX, and Chrissy Kennedy of Belfair, WA; step-son, Randy Grossman of Frisco, TX; two siblings, Dennis Clifton and Carol Balchin; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
