Lois Dinkins

Lois M. Dinkins, daughter of James W. and Bessie (Dace) Stewart was born on November 3, 1929. She departed this life on September 24, 2023 at the age of 93.

Lois grew up in Ellington, Missouri where she spent most of her life. She loved to travel the world and see as much of it as possible. She spent the last 10 years as a resident of the Wood County area, living in Yantis, Texas. Lois attended Rock Hill Baptist Church on Sundays.

She is survived by her two daughters Sharon Green and husband Glen of Yantis, Texas and Patricia Jo Hosler and husband Larry of Stafford, Virginia; one grandson Justin Hosler of Greenwood Missouri; one granddaughter Carrie Minnich and husband Tracey of Stafford, Virginia; three great grandsons Trace, Cade, and Rhett Minnich; one brother Jim Stewart of Springfield, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Those who preceded her in death are her parents James W. and Bessie Stewart; six sisters Sadie Ellis, Marie Fitzgerald, Murriel Stewart, Willa Mae Decker, Virginia Scott, and Dorothy Burns.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold, MO on March 11 with visitation at 10:00 AM and the service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Ellington Memorial Cemetery in Ellington, MO.
