Lewis R. Swann

Funeral services for Lewis Ray Swann, 87 Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, Quitman with Brother Fred Morrow and Dr. Dick White officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 27th at Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Lewis was born October 5, 1927 in Winnsboro, TX to the late Rufus Anderson and Ida Maude Caldwell Swann and passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Quitman. He lived in Quitman most of his life and retired from Lone Star Steel after 30 years and attended Liberty Methodist Church, Quitman.

Lewis is survived by his wife Eva Marie Harris Swann, Quitman; 2 sons, Charles R. Swann and wife Kathy, Quitman, Roger P. Swann, Salisbury, MD; 1 daughter, Shirley Burns and husband Harold, Yantis; 1 sister, Nadine Caviness, Winnsboro; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
