Leslie Laviel Short

Memorial services for Leslie Laviel Short 88 of Quitman, are scheduled for 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes. Leslie was born November 18, 1925 to Edmund Vaughn and Judity Lee Hopkins Short and passed away August 5, 2014. He has lived in Wood County since January 2012 and was a life member of VFW #5724493, the American Legion, UFCW Local 1000 and a Methodist. He also served in the U. S. Navy.

Leslie is survived by his wife; 1 daughter, Patricia Ann Myraz; 4 sons, Parris Mitchel, Farris Michael , Robbin Laviel, Rex Duwyane; 2 step-daughters, Susan Amie and Jennifer Lee; 25 granchildren, 23 great grandchidren and 3 great great grandchildren.
