Larry Wayne Nelson

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Wayne Nelson, 56, of Mineola are scheduled for 12 noon Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church with Brother Rick Ellington officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery.

Larry was born November 9, 1962 in Aurora, IL to Troy and Virginia Nelson and died January 26, 2019 in Quitman. He lived the last 13 years in the Hainesville Community and was a member of Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church. Larry was an independent insurance adjuster and loved horseback riding and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Virginia Nelson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years, Vicki Nelson of Hainesville; 3 sons, Timothy Nelson of Fort Worth, David Sheffield of Mineola, and Tommy and Christi Bashioum of Texas; daughter Shannon and her husband Daniel Wood of Carrollton; 3 brothers, Neugene Nelson of Illinois, Gary Nelson of Arlington, Duane Nelson of Azle; 3 sisters, Evon Holbrook of Alabama, Joanne Nelson of Alvarado, Diane Watson of Alvarado; 6 grandchildren, Joslynn Bayless, Nikki Farmer, Bailee, Wyatt, and Harper Bashioum, and Megan Sheffield; great grandchildren, Dyson and Dylanie Leach, Haygen Powell, and Katelynn Farmer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family gives special thanks to Kim Hudson for all her help and to Rhonda Coxey and Linda Crawford.
