Kenneth Ray Morrow, Jr., age 83, passed away on April 12, 2026, at his home in Hawkins.

He was born on November 5, 1942, in Corsicana, Texas, to Kenneth Ray Morrow, Sr. and Mary Ruth (Smalley) Morrow.

Kenneth spent nearly 60 years working as a truck driver, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He retired at the age of 80 after a lifetime of providing for his family. He was a very hard-working man who took pride in his work. Kenneth lived in Wood County for over 60 years.

A man of faith, he was a Christian and attended a small church in Crow, Texas, during his younger years. Kenneth enjoyed the simple things in life, like fishing in his pond behind his home, which he kept stocked.

He married the love of his life, Beverly Joyce Morrow, when she was 16 and he was 18. They shared many years together before her passing in 2006.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Joyce Morrow; parents, Kenneth Morrow Sr. and Mary Ruth Morrow; daughter, Melody May Morrow; and two sons-in-law, Richard Shattles and Dennis Malone.

Left to cherish his memory are 5 children, Steven Ray Morrow of Lake Tawokani, Edward Jay Morrow of Hawkins, Darla Gay Shattles of Hawkins, Beverly Kay Malone of Cooper, and Lydia Fay Layman of Hawkins; 5 siblings, Jerry Morrow, Ronnie Morrow, Donnie Morrow, Kathy Murrell, and Louis Morrow; and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
