Katherine Josephine Armold

Katherine Josephine Armold, 81, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Northglenn Colorado where she resided in recent years to be near her daughter Lisa. She was born on June 6, 1943, in Cameron, West Virginia, to parents Nathan and Ada (Mathews) Dunham. On December 12, 1964, she married Joe Armold. They spent many years living in the Yantis, Texas community near Lake Fork, and they enjoyed the lake life and all that it offered.

She worked most recently as a Customer Service representative with AAFES but spent the majority of her working life managing school cafeterias, many of those years at Irving ISD. She was also a lifelong crafter who enjoyed card making and knitting. Kathy was also a member of First Christian Church in Mineola. 

She is preceded by her husband Joe Armold; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband Gary Crump; grandson, Alexander Crump; and several other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

 Graveside Services for Kathy will be held at 10:00AM Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Yantis Cemetery, located on County Road 1800, in Yantis, Texas.
