Judy Ann Osbourn, 82, of Quitman, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2026. She was born on July 6, 1944, in Santa Rosa, California, to John Raymond Jacobson and Mildred Regina (Cyphers) Jacobson.

After graduating from high school, Judy continued her education by completing several secretarial courses. She went on to work for Ford Aerospace for many years before retiring. Never one to stay retired for long, she later began working for the United States Postal Service, where she served as a postmaster before retiring for a second time. She married John “Sonny” William Osbourn Jr. on November 24, 1982 in Sunnyvale, California. They spent nearly 39 years together before his passing in 2021.

In 2007, Judy and Sonny moved to Quitman from Quincy, California, and made East Texas their home. Judy was happiest at home and enjoyed spending her time cooking and baking. In her younger years, Judy was a talented seamstress and made many dresses for herself and her daughter.

Judy also had a special place in her heart for her two dogs, who were beloved companions and an important part of her everyday life.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, John Raymond Jacobson and Mildred Regina (Cyphers) Jacobson; and husband, John “Sonny” Osbourn Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children: Jeff Robinson and wife Lisa of Stockton, CA; and Annisa Bailey of Diamond Springs, CA. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Jeff Robinson Jr. and wife Kristy, and Chase Robinson and wife Alexa.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Judy to APET SPCA in Mineola, Texas.
