Joyce Ann Azlin

Joyce Ann Azlin, 63, of Winnsboro Tx passed away peacefully at her home on July 25, 2020 with her family at her side.

She was born in San Antonio, Tx on September 21, 1956, to her parents James and Wanda Oliver. Joyce moved to Winnsboro in 1985. She married the love of her life, Danny Azlin on July 12, 1974.

She had many accomplishments in her life. She worked at Neighbors & Horton Insurance, Team Worldwide, Scott’s Pharmacy, and FNB. She also co-owned the Scenic 515 Cabins at Lake Fork since 2008. She was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years alongside her sweet friends. She also taught Mission Friends, VBS, and was a member of the church choir.

Joyce loved to travel with her friends, try her luck at the casinos, and fish with her family. She was a true treasure at home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Wanda Oliver, and her Brothers, Allen and Jim Oliver.

Left to cherish her precious memory is her husband; Danny Azlin, Son and Daughter in law Rique and Karen Azlin, grandsons; Noah and Caleb Azlin; Daughter and Son in law, D’Anne and Justin Canaday, grandchildren; River, Colton, and Kinslye Canaday; Son and Daughter in law Chad and Lindsey Azlin; grandchildren, Tucker, Abbey, and Avery. Brother Jerry Oliver of Arlington; Sister in law Dee Oliver of Lytle; Brother in law and Wife, Larry and Dena Azlin of Rosebud; Brother in law, Jerry Azlin of Winnsboro, and may other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Serving as pallbearers are Danny Azlin, Rique Azlin, Chad Azlin, Justin Canaday, Joe Holt, Jerry Oliver, and Chris Robertson.

Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, Noah Azlin, Caleb Azlin, River Canaday, Colton Canaday, and Tucker Azlin.

Flowers are welcome, but if desired, donations in memory of Joyce may be made to Chambers Hospice.
