Funeral service for Joann Clark, 87, of Quitman, is scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home with Mike Leeper officiating. Interment will follow at Quitman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Joann Clark was born in Arkansas on February 25, 1931 to Fred and Pearl (Litsy) Miller. She moved to Quitman in 1996 from Houston. Joann was very active in Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council for 55 years, where she served as troop leader and volunteer. She was also passionate stamp collector for more than 50 years.

Joann passed away Monday morning, August 6, 2018 in Winnsboro.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherri Hawley and husband Bob of Alba; brother, Paul Joe Miller of West Memphis, Arkansas; grandchildren, Bailey R. Hawley of Alba and Jennie Marie Leeper and husband Mike of Burleson; six great grandchildren, Bradford, Cody, Preston, Jessica, Michael, and Julianne; three great great grandchildren; niece, Sonya Miller; nephew, David Miller; and extended family and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, memorial contributions can be gifted in Joann's honor to a service club that she held very dear in her later years, the Pilot Club of Quitman.
