Jimmie Allen Weems

Jimmie Allen Weems, 55, passed away on April 11, 2025. He was a beloved husband, son, father, and grandfather. 

He was born December 16, 1969, in Franklin County, Texas, to parents Edgar Allen and Brenda Pauline Durban Weems. Jimmie was a man of many talents and even more heart. He worked hard on the oil rigs and had a passion for the outdoors—hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. He had a knack for fixing cars, loved spending time at the sawmill, and had a deep appreciation for old-fashioned craftsmanship. A fiddler at heart, Jimmie brought joy through music and had the rare gift of taking things apart just to see if he could make them better. 

He was head over heels in love with his grandchildren, and they were the light of his life. Whether it was telling stories, teaching them something new, or just spending time together, he made sure they knew they were his world. 

Jimmie shared his life with his loving wife, Lynn, in Winnsboro, Texas. Their bond was built on deep love, shared laughter, and unwavering devotion.

 He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his sense of humor, and the way he could fix just about anything—especially a bad day.

He survived by his wife Lynn Weems; parents Edgar and Brenda Weems; children Brittney Weems & husband Kyle King, Jacob Weems & wife Brittany Walls, and Daniel Weems; sisters Shelly DeForrest & husband Shannon DeForrest, Sharon Weems Lyons & husband Rick, and Sheila Weems Williamson; grandchildren Harmony King, Gracelynn Weems, Stetson King, and Bentley Weems; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Graveside services were held 2:00PM Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Little Hope Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas.
