Jerry Dale "JD" Arnaud, 57, of Alba, Texas, passed away on October 19, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on October 25, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri.

JD spent most of his life in Illinois, where he graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1987. Following graduation, he attended college before beginning a career in telecommunications as a technician, a profession he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. Seventeen years ago, JD and his identical twin brother, Terry, made the move to Alba, Texas, where they embraced the peace and simplicity of country living.

From the very beginning, JD and Terry shared a bond that went far beyond being identical twins. They were constant companions throughout their lives. Where you found one, you could almost always find the other. Through every season of life, they had each other, and that was all they ever really needed. Together, they were blessed with something so many people spend their lives searching for, and something others may take for granted: unconditional love and complete trust. They never had to question where they stood with one another or whether they could depend on each other. In a world where those things can be hard to find, JD and Terry had both in each other.

JD was not only Terry's best friend but also his devoted caretaker. He looked after his brother with a love and dedication that came naturally to him. Caring for Terry was never simply a responsibility; it was a reflection of the bond they shared. JD's love was evident in the little things he did each day, especially their nightly tradition of reading together. Whether it was a passage from the Bible or the pages of a thrilling novel, JD would read aloud to Terry. Those quiet nights together were just one of the many ways JD showed his brother how much he meant to him.

To Terry, JD was more than a brother. He was his other half and his very best friend. In Terry's own words, "Jerry was the best brother in the world." There could be no greater testament to the kind of man JD was. The two shared a lifetime of memories and a connection that words can hardly describe. Although they are no longer side by side, the love between these two brothers will always remain.

Outside of his time with Terry, JD enjoyed fishing, reading, and spending time with animals, especially his beloved dog, Ina.

JD is survived by his identical twin brother and best friend, Terry Dean Arnaud of Alba, Texas.
