Funeral service for Jeanette May Wansley, 75, of Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Lake Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Crisp, Bro. Fred Morrow and Dan Skinner officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery, Quitman, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2017, at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

Jeanette was born July 1, 1942 in Texarkana, Texas to Richard and Lena (Robinson) May. She graduated from W.W. Samuel High School in Dallas and has lived in Quitman for the last 47 years. She worked in oil and gas as a Petroleum Landman and enjoyed traveling for work. She was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church and will be remembered by many for her beautiful soprano signing voice.

Jeanette entered heavens gates Saturday, July 22, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Wansley in 2013; two brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter Tanya (Bridges) Weems and husband Don of Quitman; sisters, Hazel Bohon of Burleson and Mary Fleming of Keller; grandsons, Jody Weems and Josh Weems both of Quitman and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers are Jody Weems, Josh Weems, Rocky Bridges, Kent Weems, Tim Shirley and Bud Allred.
Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony Bridges, Charles Patrick, Matt Love, Ricky Wansley and Wayne Wansley.
