Jean Brown

Funeral services for Jean Brown, 83 Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Reverends Derwood DuBose, Ken Otwell and Otis Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Quitman City Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, Feb. 2nd at Lowe Funeral Home. Jean moved to Quitman in 1986 from Pleasant Grove, Tx. She attended the Assembly of God Church Quitman and was a Care Giver in Home Health. She married Floyd Brown on January 1, 1949. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Brown, Quitman; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Marcus and Deborah Brown, Tyler, Michael and Chris Brown, Quitman, Ricky and Cindy Brown, Seagoville; 1 brother, Butch Williams, Quitman, GA; 1 sister; Doris Mixon, Arlington, TX; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
