James Preston Roberts
Services for J. Preston Roberts 89, Quitman, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Quitman City Cemetery.
Preston died Jan. 26, 2012. He was born July 9, 1922. He served in the Navy during World War II, was a cattle rancher and member of Mytle Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Vivian L. Roberts, Quitman, and sisters, Madille Vaughn, Kaufman and Lola Fae Baker, Quitman.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
