James Preston Bussell

James Preston Bussell, age 30, of Quitman, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at his home in Quitman. He was born July 2, 1992, to Steven Paul Bussell and Mary Ann Stroncheck in Sulphur Springs.

James loved nothing more than being a dad to his children, hanging out with his friends, and his company. James started his own business in 2019, SKS Demolition, and was very proud of the accomplishments he had made with his business.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Christa Bussell; his children, Skyleigh, Ava, Sawyer, KayLee, Caitlynn, and Cayden; his father, Steven Paul Bussell; mother Mary Ann Stroncheck; brother, Stephen Bussell; sister, Alyssa Bussell; nieces, Jordyn, and Shyanne, and his nephews, Cameron and Kaysen.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Paul Bussell and Betty Jeanne Bussell; brother, Justin (J-Mac)   Sherril; and his aunt, Gladys Shields.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Yantis Baptist Church in Yantis, with Bro. Jeremy Durig officiating. Jeremy Fuller, Matthew Crayton, Kevin Mullins, Justin Corwin, Chris Bowman, and Cory Thompson will be Pallbearers. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations in Quitman.
