Jacob Lee Coats

Funeral services for Jacob Lee Coats 14, Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2014 First Baptist Church Quitman with Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. James Nickell officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P M Sunday evening, Jan. 5th at Lowe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery on East FM 49, Wood County.

Jacob was born October 13, 1999 in Tyler to Ty and Melissa Matura Coats. He passed away Thursday January 2, 2014 at his residence. Jacob lived all of his life in Quitman and attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He played sports in Quitman ISD and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his Paternal Grandparents, David and Joyce Coats, Satanta, KS and Maternal Grandparents, Dwayne and Darla Matura, Edgewood, TX; Parents, Ty and Melissa Coats, Quitman; 1 Sister, Katelyn Coats, Quitman; Uncle, Matthew Coats, Quitman; 3 Aunts and Uncles, Tom and Cheryl Moore, Quitman; Robin and Teresa Ragsdale, Edgewood; Jason and Rachel Matura, Canton and numerous cousins.
