Jackie Lou (Osbourn) Taylor, age 82, of Quitman, Texas, passed away suddenly at her home on June 10, 2026.

Jackie was born on February 7, 1944, in Quitman, Texas, to John Williams. Osbourn and Ella Mae Williams Osbourn. With the exception of a brief time living in Odessa, Texas, she spent most of her life in Quitman, where she built lasting friendships and became a familiar and cherished member of the community.

She loved spending time with family and friends, especially while playing cards, sharing stories, and enjoying fellowship with those around her. She was gifted with her hands and had a passion for sewing and creating crafts. For many years, she worked at the local pharmacy, where she enjoyed helping customers and displaying many of the crafts she lovingly made.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie's warm spirit, kind heart, and welcoming smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Jackie was also a devoted member of the Forever Young Activity Center in Quitman. She was elected to the Board of Directors in February 2019 and faithfully served as both Games Chairman and Program Chairman. She enthusiastically participated in the center's activities and was an important part of the organization, forming many meaningful friendships through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Osbourn and Ella Mae Williams Osbourn; brothers; Russell Osbourn and Sonny Osbourn.

Left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life are her sons, Dereck Rowland and Traci of Greenville, Wayne Rowland and Jennifer of Russellville, Arkansas; sister, Melba Bailey; grandchildren, Kari Wilson and Jo of Quitman, Kara Caldwell and Caleb of Marshall, Haid Rowland and Darby Beavers of Winnsboro, Clayton Freeman, Camryn Graham, Kimberly Blue, Chelsea Wilson, and Tony Black; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forever Young Activity Center, 404 South Main Street, Quitman, Texas 75783.

A funeral service honoring Jackie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, Texas.
