Henry "Bud" Morrow

Henry Dale Morrow, age 80, of Golden, passed away Saturday evening, January 9, 2021 in Tyler.

Henry Dale Morrow, also known as “Bud”, was born in Red River Township Arkansas on May 13, 1940 to the late Henry G. and Gladys (Talbert) Morrow. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

Bud and his wife, Carol, were East Texas residents for 40 years, settling in Golden.  He retired from AIG Insurance after working as a safety engineer for several years. During his retirement, he enjoyed cruising around.  Bud had a great sense of direction and loved to just hop in the vehicle and drive and see new sights.  He and Carol loved to travel.  The couple enjoyed going on cruises in the Caribbean, but their favorite trip was one they took to Canada.  Bud was a Christian and a member of Church on the Rock in Quitman.

Bud is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys (Morrow) Wilcox; father, Henry G. Morrow; brother, James Morrow; and sister, Mary Maxine Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Carol Morrow of Golden; one son, Ricky Dale Morrow and wife Kimberly of Cypress, TX; one daughter, Debra Alicia Morrow of Montgomery, TX; step-children, Billy G. Ashford of Yantis, Denise Johnson of Alba, Stacy Harris and husband Brad of Longview, and Cleta Turner of Alba; three grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Morrow and wife Courtney, Morgan Elizabeth Morrow, and Brendan Patrick Morrow; six step grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
