Helen Jordan Gipson

Memorial Services for Helen Jordan Gipson 74, of Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 AM January 21 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.

Helen was born October 28, 1941 in Tyler to JW and Mary Frances Jordan and died January 17, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joe Gipson.

She lived in Quitman 36 years and was a member of First Baptist Church Quitman. She worked in Child Protective Service and was a volunteer for the Quitman VFD.

She is survived by 1 son, Allen Gipson of Prosper; 1 daughter, Dena Huggler of Frisco; 2 brothers, Van Jordan of Tyler and Wayne Jordan of Longview; 1 sister, Barbara Davis of Bullard; and 7 grandchildren, Lindsey and Jake Marsland, and Lauren, Joe, Jack, Zachary, and Abigail Gipson.
