Funeral services for Helen E. Arnold 78, Yantis are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2013 Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, Quitman with Brother Arlis Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Sulphur Springs, Tx. Family will receive friends 10:00 AM(1 hr. prior) to service time at the funeral home.
Helen was born May 12, 1935 in Paynes, MS. to Leon and Byrdie Staten. She was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Donald Blake, Richardson, TX. She lived 17 yrs in Yantis moving from Sulphur Springs. She was a Genealogy Coordinator for ten years for Tallahachie County Mississippi and a Co Author of three books regarding Tallahachie County. She also served for 50 years in the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron in the Mesquite Chapter #877 and in Saltillo,Tx. Chapter.

Helen was preceded in death by a son Frank King. She is survived by her husband, R. Dustin Arnold, Yantis, TX and daughter, DeVia Murry, Phoenix, AZ and 1 Grandson Bradley Murry, Fountain Hills, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
