Harold Dee Lawson, born February 4, 1964, in Huntsville, Tennessee, passed from this life on May 20, 2021. Harold resided in Mineola, Texas, with his sister, Joy Phillips, after moving from his home state of Tennessee, where he resided most of his life.
Harold had a love for the Lord and a tender heart. He enjoyed church and good gospel music. He loved fishing with his boys every chance he had. He loved being outdoors. A very loving and caring person who would give his last dollar and do without to help someone less fortunate than himself. He had an infectious smile and loved to have a good laugh with family and friends. Harold never met a stranger.
Harold is survived by two sons, Jonathan Harold Lawson and wife Felecia, and Justin Hunter Lawson and Jaycee; sisters, Charlon Faye Martin and husband Jerry, Joy Phillips and husband Richard, and Tootsi Lawson; brothers, Eddie Dean Lawson and wife Donna, and Eldridge Lawson Jr. and wife Vicky; five grandchildren, Syler, Brady, Brynlee, Maxxon, and Mylee; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Harold was preceded in death by his infant son, Aaron Ray Lawson; father, Eldridge Lawson; mother, Ona Lee Cross Stephens; and stepfather, Virgil Stephens.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Lowe-Gardner Funerals & Cremations, 1102 E. Goode St., Quitman, Texas. The Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the funeral home. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM, with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Quitman, Texas.
